2024 Chevrolet Silverado EVÂ Interior and Exterior Design
The Ultium platform on which the Silverado EV will sit will make the EV slightly shorter - by just over an inch - than a crew-cab gas-powered Silverado 1500. However, the interior of the Silverado EV is large and spacious.
Chevy offers an eTrunk under the hood with a cargo area of 9.0-cubic feet. The eTrunk will also offer tie-down hooks and a 120-volt power outlet for charging purposes.
One advantage of the Silverado EV is its ability for Cadillac, MI drivers to plug into the vehicle. There are four 120-volt outlets in the truck's pickup bed, a power bar, and a 240-volt outlet. The Power Bar plugs into the CSS charging port, and it will offer two more 120-volt outlets.

The Silverado EV will be available in a crew cab configuration. There will be a glass roof with tint, black and white two-toned upholstery, and red piping on the seats made from sustainable materials.
2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV Safety Features
The Silverado EV's basic trim is expected to offer automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection. Still, some features will only be available on the RST or Trail Boss trims. Adaptive Cruise Control will be an available option, likely to be found on the RST or Trail Boss. The RST is expected to offer semiautonomous driving.
2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV Technology Features
The Silverado EV in RST trim offers a 17.0-inch touchscreen monitor. This allows Big Rapids drivers easy access to the many infotainment features, including smartphone connectivity, built-in navigation, and climate control. Harrison, MI also says, "Hey Google," and access Google features, including Google Play and Google Assistant.
The Silverado EV will not require a traditional key but will start with a registered key or phone app. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are expected offerings for the Silverado EV and an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot.
2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV Performance Features
The basic powertrain of the Chevy Silverado EV is a 20-module, 167-kilowatt battery pack. This is paired with two permanent magnet motors. The basic powertrain is expected to provide up to 510 horsepower and 615 pound-feet torque. This will be available in all Chevy Silverado EVs from the WT and RST trim.
The optional powertrain offering will consist of a 24-module, 200-kilowatt battery pack. It is also paired with two motors. This powertrain will provide more than 600 horsepower and over 700 pound-feet of torque.
The RST trim is expected to offer the "WOW" mode, which will bump the horsepower to 664 and increase torque performance up to 780 pound-feet of torque.
The Silverado EV is expected to offer drivers the ability to tow up to 10,000 pounds. The EV is rated to haul up to 1,300 pounds of cargo.
The base Silverado EV model will be offered in all-wheel drive; however, four-wheel drive will also be available in certain models.
